Make a Payment Request Records Spotlight Employee of the Month Successful leadership means taking the heat when things go wrong, and sharing the credit when things go right. So it was only natural when Gena at our San Tan Justice Court deflected the praise heaped upon her recently. Multiple co-workers nominated her for the CRAFT Award- our version of employee of the month. The CRAFT Award recognizes employees who go above and beyond in any of five categories: C ustomer Service R eliability A ttitude F riendliness T eamwork For three months last year, Gena stepped up to perform not only her own job, but also her supervisor’s when that person was out on leave. Most of the nominations mentioned her r eliability. As the staff gathered around to watch her receive the award, she turned the attention back on them. You’re only as good as your team, you know? They make me what I am." The smiles, cheers, and even tears told a greater story: you work well with a leader you trust, and who trusts you in return. Thank you, Gena, for leading with trust! News Eviction News Conference The Maricopa County Justice Courts brought leading voices together in the last week of March for a media event about evictions. It’s been an ongoing hot topic across the country since before the pandemic.
